Door-to-Door Sharpening Service

Pickup after 10am. Return after 2pm.

  • Pickup & drop off, $18 (combined)
  • Weather and traffic permitting, within 10 miles of Vivront in Edina, MN. 
  • Non-holiday weekdays only

You:

  1. Pack your knives in a box
  2. Checkout (before 10AM)
  3. Place the box at your front door

We'll:

  1. Send a driver to collect your boxed knives 
  2. Sharpen them at our Edina shop
  3. Deliver them back to your front door

How Vivront Door-to-Door Works

1. Book online (order by 10:00AM, Weekdays (non-holiday))

Select Home or Pro, choose the number of knives, enter your address, and complete checkout. A flat pickup and drop off (combined) rate applies at checkout.

2. Pack knives safely in a (shoe?) box

Oven Mitt Knife Transport

 

For safer and more reliable transport:

  • Wrap knives
  • Secure with rubber bands or similar
  • Place in a cardboard box (shoebox or reused shipping box)
  • Tape the box closed on all seams
  • Complete and attach downloadable label with your name (or restaurant name), address, and phone number

3. Set the box in the pickup spot

 

Home: visible, sheltered spot at your front door.


Pro: front desk (or clearly marked pickup point near your main entrance).

4. Pickup window: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Our courier partners will be scheduled to collect the box and deliver it to Vivront.

5. We'll sharpen

Our sharpening team will restore your edges using our in-shop processes, then repack your knives for return.

6. Return: ~After 2PM

Your sharpened knives will be delivered back to the same location they were picked up.

Access Requirements

Your pickup point must be straightforward for couriers to reach. We cannot pick up from locations with:

  • Locked lobbies or restricted entry 
  • Intercom-only or fob-only access for couriers
  • Hidden, unmarked, or hard-to-see pickup spots
  • Gated entry without clear instructions and access

If your address has any of the above characteristics we can not serve you at that address with concierge delivery. To use this service you MUST provide a fully accessible location for pickup.
