The Sharpening
When your Miyabi knives arrive at our Edina shop, we sharpen at the geometry appropriate for the steel, not a fixed Western angle. Miyabi's harder steel requires a different approach than German knives, and we work accordingly. You get your same knives back, performing as intended.
You can include other brands in the same kit. We sharpen Japanese and German knives in the same order.
Turnaround
We sharpen within 1–2 business days of receiving your knives and ship back promptly. Most customers receive their knives within a week of sending them, depending on distance from Minneapolis.

Is this a sharpener I use at home?
No. This is a professional mail-in service. The kit contains everything needed to ship your Miyabi knives to our shop safely. We sharpen and return them.
Can I include other brands?
Yes. Wüsthof, Shun, Global, or any other kitchen knife brand can go in the same kit. We sharpen everything with the same care and turnaround.
