A small collection of things we love. One gift a day from December 5 to 16.
Every year, we like to slow down and choose a handful of gifts that feel worth giving. Tools with purpose. Books with warmth. Items that bring a little confidence or comfort into the kitchen.
This season, we gathered twelve of our favorites and built a simple ritual around them. Each one chosen because it is well made, well designed, and ready to serve someone you care about.
Some gifts are small and thoughtful. Others bring a sense of craft or long term usefulness. All of them are things we would gladly bring into our own kitchens.
If you would like to follow along, here is the list as it grows:
Day 1
Opinel No. 8

A timeless folding knife from France that slips easily into a pocket or bag. Light, simple, and beautifully made, the Opinel No. 8 is an everyday tool that earns its place the more you carry it. A perfect gift for someone who likes utility with a bit of charm.
Also comes in Carbon Steel.
Day 2
Tsunehisa Knives

Tsunehisa knives are crafted in Tosa, Japan with excellent steel and thoughtful geometry. They feel balanced and confident, the kind of tool that makes daily cooking smoother and more enjoyable. A good gift for someone who appreciates sharpness, intention, and quiet performance at the cutting board.
Day 3
OUL

Clean lines, good design, and tools made for kitchens that see real use. OUL pieces bring modern simplicity into daily cooking, offering the kind of practical beauty that makes a home kitchen feel more intentional. A great gift for anyone building a collection they will reach for daily.
Day 4
Maestro Mill Set

The Maestro Mill Set from Peugeot is built for cooks who love flavor and craft. With adjustable grinding and interchangeable jars, it turns seasoning into something more thoughtful. A beautiful and functional gift for anyone who enjoys cooking with care.
Day 5
Djuce Wine Glasses

Elegant Design meets surprising durability. Djuce wine glasses look amazing on the table and travel well outdoors thanks to their unbreakable Tritan construction. A great set for the host who values ease, style, and a glass that survives the season.
