Maestro Salt and Pepper Grinders

Maestro Salt and Pepper Grinders

Most kitchens get stuck with one salt and one pepper. Not because it’s best, but because switching is annoying. The Maestro system fixes that with one grinder for salt, one grinder for pepper, and interchangeable, clearly labeled jars you can swap while cooking.

Less guessing. Less boredom. More control, and more joy, meal after meal.

Why seasoning gets boring

Here’s what we see again and again: people buy a salt once, fill the grinder, then forget what it is. Same with pepper. And because it’s a hassle to empty and refill a traditional mill, that one pepper becomes “the pepper.” Over time it dries out, food starts to taste flat, and nobody quite knows why.

The Maestro system (in one minute)

One grinder. Many jars.

Keep a small collection of salts and peppers in separate jars, label them clearly, and swap them in seconds. You don’t have to empty anything. You don’t have to remember anything.

Swap while cooking (quarter-turn).

Twist off the jar, cap it, twist on the next jar, and keep cooking. This is what makes the system feel empowering instead of fussy.

u’Select grind control.

Maestro grinders use Peugeot’s u’Select system with defined grind settings, so your grind size stays consistent. Fine means fine. Coarse means coarse. (And you can see what you’re choosing.)

What this unlocks in everyday cooking

When you can swap seasonings easily, food stops being repetitive. Eggs on Tuesday don’t have to taste like eggs on Saturday.

More importantly, you can steer and recover dishes in real time. If something drifts too floral, too earthy, too sharp, or too heavy, you can counterbalance with a different pepper or salt at the finish.

That’s what good tools do: they build clarity and confidence. And confidence is what keeps people cooking.

FAQ

What are Maestro salt and pepper grinders?

Maestro salt and pepper grinders are a seasoning system: one grinder for salt and one for pepper, each using interchangeable glass jars so you can keep multiple salts and peppers ready, labeled (glass pen included), and easy to swap while cooking.

Do Maestro grinders have adjustable grind settings?

Yes. Maestro grinders use Peugeot’s u’Select grind adjustment system with defined settings (easily viewed at the top of the grinder) so you can choose fine or coarse and keep it consistent.

Can I use the salt grinder for pepper (or the pepper grinder for salt)?

We don’t recommend it. Salt and pepper grinders are purpose-built differently and are meant to be used with their intended ingredient. The salt can corrode the metal in the pepper grinder. And the pepper can get weirdly caught up in the salt grinders.

What salt works in the Maestro salt grinder?

Use dry salt crystals. Avoid wet salt or wet sea salt.

Why do interchangeable jars matter?

Freshness and flexibility. Keep multiple salts and peppers ready, label them, and swap quickly so you can change flavor and counterbalance dishes at the beginning, middle or finish.
